An empty commercial building gets a new life

The story of the case

The 1990s by the NMC company that operated in a third of the building’s area, and intended to rent out the rest of the area. In the first half of the year 2000, after about eight years, NMC left the place, after not being able to rent a single square meter of the area designated for rent. The building was put up for sale and in a short time was fully purchased by a public company that wanted to move its offices from the Ramat Gan area to Rishon Lezion. At the end of the day, the company decided to move to another location in the downtown area, and as a result put the building up for sale again.

For 12 years (!) various brokers tried to sell the building without any success, until in 2013 the building was handed over to the exclusive care of the Yair Levy Strategy Real Estate Company which succeeded–in less than two years– to complete its sales.

How did we do it?

Moses, besides being a worthy leader, is considered the first mediator in history. He is the first to mediate between God and the children of Israel, and he manages to lead them through the desert until they reach the promised land thanks to his ability to see the big picture, share the people’s decisions and advocate for them before God when necessary. At a certain moment the difficulty in his role as a mediator is so great that he angrily breaks the tablets of the covenant.

Moshe’s success, and with it his outburst of rage, teach us about the real role of the mediator and give us a glimpse of the type of difficulties encountered by those involved in the profession. (And in the said words there is no recommendation for the use of physical force!)
